News Flash!

I just received an email from the CEO of the PNN, telling me that they'd like to start giving me a monthly stipend to write this blog! They also want to interview me, and I almost laughed out loud when they asked if I could "find the time"-- heck, all I've got is time these days.

Oh. My. Goodness!

First of all, thanks to everyone who has been reading and commenting on this blog. You don't know how much it means to me, to think other people are actually paying attention to what I write, even though I'm just one small, unremarkable voice in the ocean of blogging. You guys are the greatest, and I owe you so much!

In the coming weeks, look for more updates, as well as (perhaps) a new section or two. The wedding is coming up, which will mean more high drama; the election season is in full swing, which will provide me with more political fodder; and Adam and I are moving into our first apartment tomorrow, so that will certainly allow for plenty of excitement.

I really needed an emotional boost this week, and you all gave me that. Thanks so much, from the bottom of my unemployed, twenty-something heart.
